Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms apply when you use A Level Business Revision (“the app”), operated by CR & MR Tuition (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you have questions, contact us at catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com.
1. What the app is
The app is an independent educational revision and practice resource for Pearson Edexcel A Level Business. It offers lessons, activities, diagnostics, a review queue and a revision game called My Business.
2. Independence from Pearson and exam boards
The app is not produced, approved, endorsed or operated by Pearson, Pearson Edexcel, any other exam board or any school. Pearson’s official specification and assessment materials are the authoritative source for current specification and exam information.
3. Educational purpose and no guarantees
The app is designed to support revision. We cannot guarantee any grade, exam result, predicted grade or university outcome. Specifications and assessment arrangements can change, so check official sources before making important decisions.
4. Who can use the app
The app is intended for students and others studying A Level Business, including students under 18. If you are under 18, you may wish to talk to a parent, carer or teacher about these terms.
5. Public content and accounts
You can read lessons and revision content without an account. A free account is needed to check answers, submit responses and reveal results in interactive activities.
- Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been misused.
- We will send necessary service emails, such as email verification and password reset. We do not send marketing emails.
The current revision account is free. If paid features are introduced later, separate terms will apply to them.
6. Where your progress is stored
Without signing in, progress such as lessons, saved answers, the review queue, diagnostics, Coins and My Business upgrades is stored only in your browser. Changing device or browser, clearing site data or using private browsing may lose that progress, and we cannot recover it. When you are signed in with a verified account, your progress, Coins, BizBux and upgrades are saved to your account. Coins and upgrades held only in a browser are not transferred into an account.
7. Automated marking and feedback
Automated marking, scores, diagnostics, mastery labels and performance indicators are revision feedback only. They are not official marks and do not predict your exam grade.
8. Coins, My Business and game features
Coins, BizBux, My Business, upgrades and unlocks are game mechanics to encourage revision. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred or sold, and may be rebalanced, reset or changed. Each lesson and diagnostic question can earn Coins only once per account, and rewards are checked by our systems before they are added.
9. Corrections and errors
We work to keep content accurate, but errors can happen in educational content, answers or scoring. We may correct content, fix technical or scoring errors, and adjust progress or game balances affected by an error. Please report mistakes to catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com.
10. Intellectual property and permitted use
The app’s content, design, questions, explanations and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal study. Without our written permission you must not:
- copy, download or reproduce substantial parts of the content;
- scrape, crawl or systematically extract content or questions;
- redistribute, publish, sell or commercially exploit the content;
- use substantial amounts of the content to build competing resources or to train datasets or AI models.
Teachers who would like to use content with a class should contact us first.
11. Acceptable use and security
You must not:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights when using the app;
- try to access other users’ accounts or our systems without permission;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the app, or bypass its security or limits;
- use bots or automated tools to create accounts, earn Coins or extract content;
- create accounts using false or another person’s details.
12. Availability, updates and changes
We aim to keep the app available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, add or remove features and content, and may need to pause the service for maintenance or outages.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account in cases of serious or repeated misuse, security risks, fraud or breach of these terms. You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle your personal information.
15. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Because the app is provided free for personal study, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss of locally stored progress. We are responsible for loss caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
16. Third-party sites
The app may link to other websites, such as Pearson’s. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let account holders know.
18. Contact and complaints
For questions or complaints, email catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com. We will try to resolve problems quickly and fairly.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live and may bring claims in your local courts.
